On criticizing Mayer

There isn’t a pundit criticizing Mayer that has ever managed a turnaround at a large company. I personally can’t fathom what it takes, so I’ve sat patiently watching things unfold. I hate to say that “people who don’t do, talk about doing” because I know many great teachers, but it’s nice to finally see a pundit admit the, seemingly obvious, fact that it takes time to turn things around in an organization at the scale of Yahoo.
