That begs the question – what’s the differences in the responses on Kapuno vs Elsewhere?

At Kapuno, conversation is our passion. We make sure that individuals have the ability to respond in short or medium-form as they see fit. Whatever path they choose, we make sure that they can easily form their thoughts and that the right people see them.

Simple Formatting

As much as we wish that content could be judged on its raw merits, the medium contains a lot of the message that comes across. Therefore, just like any conversation post, a response can have titles, inline links, bold, italic, lists, and quotes. Over time, expect us to add more ways of expressing yourself. And if you make a mistake or want to improve your response, they are all editable by their creator.

Promoting Responses to Community

Responses that are especially helpful or interesting are promoted to the community activity feed so more people can see them. So whether you start a conversation or add a helpful response, we’ll do our best to promote it to the most relevant people.

Full-Page Response

Also, unlike other places, responses are given a full-page where they can shine on their own, in-context. We hope this enables people to “blog in context.” The previous responses and conversation are above the response, and it’s responses are sitting right below. A response, therefore, may be a start to a new conversation or thread.

It’s important to note that all response pages are available to searchers on Google, Bing, Ask.com and others, so it’s very possible your response will become the top result. We make sure the page provides the context a person requires to follow the conversation to the point where your response was created.
