Organizational (non-person) accounts on Kapuno

We noticed the creation of organization accounts and wanted to come forward with an official policy. Organizational accounts are welcomed; however, there is one major limitation.

Organizational accounts can’t start conversations, but can respond to others on behalf of the brand. We support that the brand can add value to a conversation by endorsing content, subscribing to conversations and responding with support or clarifications.

The reason for this policy is to ensure that real people are having conversations and are not masked behind a brand. We believe that social dynamics limit and protect the community from spam and low-quality content.
