🔗 Twitter Blog: Your Twitter archive (Article)

Twitter’s CEO Dick Costello spoke at the Online News Association (ONA) in September and promised that users would be able to download their tweets “by years end.”  They’ve followed through on this promise and now allow a full download of your tweets.

The new feature will allow users to download static HTML which allows them to navigate their tweet history all the way back to their first humble tweet.

Note, the features isn’t available to all users yet.

How will you be using the feature?

Definitely.  That said, I think the dominant use case will be using the API via life recording services like Memolane, and Timehop.
