Clear your notifications or you'll be emailed.

Originally published on Kapuno in the Ensuring Happiness on Kapuno community

Notifications on Kapuno require the member to click to view them or mark them as read or we’ll send an email.

There are three ways to mark a notification read.

1.) Click-through on the activity notification and view the page it takes you to. The link will always go to the content which generated the notification so you can view updates since you were last there.

2.) If you go to your recent activity page http://kapuno.com/recent\_activity, you’ll find a “mark read” button to the right of every piece of activity.

3.) In your notifications there is the “clear all” this will nuke them and take you back to zero.

Currently, Kapuno will email you a batch of the missed activity that’s occurred in the last 15 minutes. This time will become more dynamic as we get more data on site usage, member responsiveness, and email preferences, etc.

Do what you love!

I like it that you created the Recent Activity page.

Thank you! Keep the feedback coming.

People process way too many pieces of information today. I think it were helpful to include more from the previous conversation than the link “view the conversation that led to this response”. It is more comfortable to browse a Google Mail conversation than a kapuno conversation. I am Google fan, but I would like to help build a better service.

We’ll be adding the full-thread the lead to the response on the response pages. Should be live soon after the new year.
